JOB TITLE: Event Coordinator, Part-Time, Year Round
JOB SUMMARY:  The Event Coordinator is responsible for soliciting, contracting, organizing and overseeing the coordination of contracted events. Duties include scheduling and booking events, conducting tours, coordinating orders for events, event room setup and tear down, conduct final planning consultations, attend and oversee private events to facilitate renters needs, maintain event logs, conduct promotional activities, meet with ESC office staff, bar manager to review and coordinate upcoming events, and any other duties as assigned. Knowledge, skills, and expectations include demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook, ability to work independently, coordinate scheduled events and club events, maintain confidentiality and discretion in all matters, identify problems and issues to the President, manage multiple competing priorities, stand or sit for long periods of time, climb stairs, lift up to 25 pounds, and walk throughout the building and grounds, and dress appropriate casual-business attire when conducting club tours and during events.

JOB TITLE: Bartender, Part Time, Flexible Schedule
JOB SUMMARY: East Side Club bartenders are scheduled to work rental events, member events, and the lakeside Tiki bar. Hours of work vary with the season and club activity level. Bartenders must have knowledge of general bar operations including preparation of a wide variety of drinks. The ability to observe events and activities in the bar and service area during busy times and to effectively communicate concerns to patrons is necessary. Ability to handle cash and credit transactions quickly and accurately is essential. Each month, bartenders communicate their availability to the lead bartender and she schedules them accordingly. Successful applicants are required to obtain a City of Monona bartender license within 30 days of hire.
